Företaget planerar, utvecklar, säljer och driver landbaserade vindkraftsprojekt. Projekten varierar i storlek och omfattar allt ifrån enskilda till flera hundra vindkraftverk. Cirio has advised Svevind in the divestment of Önusberget wind farm project (part of the Markbygden 1101 cluster) to Luxcara. The project, located in the municipality of Piteå, Norrbotten, Sweden, has an expected total capacity of 750 MW, making it one of the largest single-site onshore wind projects to be realized in Europe. This major industrial project is expected to achieve an installed capacity over 4,000 MW with total production of around 8-12 TWh per year, capable to supply electricity for about 400,000 households in Sweden.

Svevind Solutions’ parent company, Svevind, has been heavily involved in the development of these new large-scale sites, including the 4 GW Markbygden project in Northern Sweden. The project, set to be the largest in Europe when completed, covers an area over 450 square kilometres and consists of 1101 turbines which will provide 6.6 percent of Sweden’s total energy production. The Önusberget wind farm, part of the Markbygden 1101 cluster in Nothern Sweden, has been sold by the developer Svevind to the asset manager Luxcara. Luxcara expects to begin construction activities in 2019 and achieve commercial operation of the project by the end of 2021.
